The Fairy Tale

“Philemon and Baucis offer shelter to the gods Zeus and Hermes, who allowed them to stay there together for eternity. Philemon becomes an oak tree, Baucis a linden (lat. tilia).”

Sustainability through innovations

Research and development have always provided the impetus for our progress. We develop new products in close cooperation with a network of universities, research institutions and young, innovative as well as experienced, knowledgeable partner companies. Thus, our scope of work ranges from fundamental research via applied research up to the implementation of the findings obtained.

Our experts in research and development work on numerous innovations. In that, the range of action is varied, e.g., currently we are working on

  • a new, even more environment-friendly generation of the KLÄRCHEN® series by optimization of the eco-efficiency of the plant

  • a novel in-house small sewage clarification plant
  • sustainable recycling of sewage sludge from small sewage clarification plants into plant growth substrate (Terra Preta
