The Honey

Linden blossoms (lat. tilia) spread a sweet scent and produce copious nectar. Bees create the much-loved linden blossom honey. This honey has a fruity note and stimulates the appetite.

Develop and transform district heating, cogeneration, methanisation and distributed energy projects

We believe that district heating is central to many optimization approaches in the energy sector – energy recovery and exchange, use of local energy resources: we jointly transform the energy production and the usage.

A few examples:

  • Transformation of a middle-size city district heating system leading to the setting up and investment in a cogeneration with a digester fed by local agricultural waste. 30% reduction of the heating price and 40% reduction of CO2 emissions. 25% return on public investment.
  • Complete energy utility upgrade of a high tech industrial equipment manufacturer, resulting among other improvements in the installation of a trigeneration supplying the entire industrial site, with Tilia as a co-financing partner. Tilia also provides a long term assistance to the operation of the facility.
  • Project management support (7 years) for a large scale public development cooperation piloting low-carbon heating and cold networks, powered by geothermal sources, serving a range of university and research institutions campuses and housing with high energy performance in "smart grid" multi-energy networkk optimization framework.

Open to new Thinking.

Christophe Hug: "To meet the challenges of the future, we have to find new models for working together. If this sounds like something you need, get in touch to learn more about a Dynamic Partnership with Tilia!"
