The Street

Berlin's famous avenue Unter den Linden was initially a riding path which led from the Berlin Castle into the Tiergarten. Today it reaches the centre of Berlin, bordered by linden trees (lat. tilia).

Operational efficiency as a financing lever to future investment

In large scale public services as well as in the industry sector, operational performance can create the means for future investments and help leverage innovation. We support our partners in this dual approach, and the results we get are at the scale of long term expectations.

A few examples:

  • Five years operational partnership with a major regional gas distributor (3 million inhabitants). Strategic review, reorganization, process optimization. Recurring benefits > 30 million Euros per year. Definition of the strategy to enter renewable energy markets.
  • Operational partnership highlighting synergies in all environmental services for a 500,000 inhabitant city regional utility managing transport, energy, water and waste. Recurring benefits to date: 12.5 million Euros per year.
  • Comprehensive multi-utility (water, energy and waste management) optimization for a city of 240,000 inhabitants. Revision of the water distribution system investment program to lower costs and reduce water losses, reduction of industry and building energy consumption, optimization of waste logistics, enhancement of the performance management system. Recurring benefits > 10 million Euros per year.
